So lately I have been wanting to get back to writing my thoughts on here but couldn't find any time or motivation to start. After spending this weekend at NYWC I was rejuvenated to resume many of the disciplines in my life that allow my creativity to flourish as well as discuss whatever about my findings and discoveries in the Scriptures and my life or should I say this part of my story.
So stay tuned if anyone even checks this anymore for hopefully some more regular postings.

One Day without Shoes...
Today I am partaking in the One Day without Shoes along with thousands of others all over the country with Toms Shoes.
By going barefoot to most of the things I am doing today, I hope some people will ask me why? Then I will have to opportunity to share with them the mission of Toms Shoes and the problem that we have with children in many countries in our world that don't have shoes to wear; we take our shoes being ready everyday for granted.
So check out this video about what is going on.

Can't get this song out of my head...
Planet Earth, it does something to me every time I watch it. Just blows my mind. Creation blows my mind. Ultimately then, God blows my mind. I just think about how insignificant I am, but how significant my relationship with God and the people of this world is. It also shows me how God loved us to place us on this amazing planet. Do you get that?!!! Not only does the creation glorify the Creator, but it was created for us to live among. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! God loves me that much. WOW!!! (breathless....)!!!!
Here is a song that hasn't been able to get out of my head, and it hits the idea of the glory of God and his creation.
I wish I had more powerful ways to describe the amazing feeling it is to see how good God is!!
Enjoy-

8,9,10,11/365 and some...
Okay so I slacked but I think with today's awesome rain/wind storm I made up for the lost time. This first shot is just today's picture. Then all the following clouds pictures were taken within 10 minutes about every 30 seconds to minute to show how fast the clouds moved in. Amazing! Makes you feel real small. The last picture is another picture just for today. I told you I tried to make up for lost time today!

Pic 7/365
Alright I'm back on track. I've been messing with aging with color. Here is another effort at that. I don't feel aged, so this isn't an expression of my life right now, that is for sure. I just have many things currently in my personal life that I want to try new. Re-evaluate my discipline, my fellowship and other things. It feels good, but ya know when you check yourself out you find a lot that you have yet to give up to Abba Father. In times of need, we need a leader, a father and the Lord, God Almighty, YHWH is that to this world. I pray to and worship that YHWH. Let the old be swept away in His grace so freely given me and you and let the new begin. Amen.

Okay so I'm behind already but that is what sickness does to you. Boo right. I know. Nevertheless I wanted to make sure I got them up before the start of another week. Today's is coming, but I wanted to post the last two days shots.
This one left me laughing for a while because, really we know, you have a Jeep. We get it. Hilarious. But I mean why not I guess.

Jesus said what?!....
"Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."
-Matthew 18:4-6
Jesus just said that! What if our preaching sounded like that today? Sometimes what Jesus says just throws me you know! Unbelievable man, unbelievable God!

Here is my second shot. Even better today, I got my new lens. It's a Canon EF 28-135mm IS USM lens.
I am watching today a show I recorded off my TV called "One Way Out" from Discovery Channel (the best channel). Highly recommend the show. It is a guy who is an escape artist and tests definite things by setting up impossible binds that he has to get out of in some way. You should watch it. Just sayin. Enjoy the pic.

Love God and do what you will.
I was listening to a great speaker, who actually is really close to my age, but rocks harder than I do at preaching and communicating God's word. So I listen and I learn.
The talk he was giving that I was listening to involved loving God, loving self and loving others. How in the world do all those things work together.
I could go on about it, but there was a striking quote that rang in my ears from a man who I really do love. The quote from Augustine is this: "Love God and do what you will." It is really neat, because you can't do what you will and then love God. It doesn't work reversed.
And I love what this guy said about this quote. "Who He is is so wrapped up in who you are" Do what you will with the love for God. Love God first, then do what you will because if you really love God you are doing what God wants you to do.
Love God and do what you will.

Joy in Change
I've learned a lot from this election. I learned that a single opinion on a topic can turn a voter from one candidate to the next. I learned that some people just hate Democrats and some people just hate Republicans. I learned that some people don't care about Repubs or Demos but would rather vote for someone with the talent to make in impact in the world. I learned that your age may not determine your level of knowledge in regards to our world and that your age may determine your level of knowledge in regards to the world. I've learned that people love change and that people are desperate to change our world with first changing the other person in the room. I've learned that change is a big word everywhere in this world. I've learned that I love change.
I hope many of you spent some time watching the inauguration yesterday and took something out of this election experience. Change was going to happen nevertheless, but it should be a unique few years to come with President Obama. I am excited for change because my life is really changing soon and now.
God allows/calls us to restart, renew, repent from our previous ways. Do it today, He's forgiving, He's gracious, He's love. Invest some time in change.
